East Japan Railway Company (JR East) is releasing a new rail pass aimed at promoting tourism to Tohoku in Japan’s north. The campaign will open with an exclusive shinkansen journey on a special “Tohoku DC Fukkou” group train from Tokyo Station to Shin Aomori Station on April 3. John Daub of the YouTube series ONLY in JAPAN will be live streaming the platform ceremony inside Tokyo Station and the ride to Shin-Aomori with Peter von Gomm.
The new JR EAST PASS (Tohoku area) will be available from April 1, 2021.

Eligibility: Foreign passport holder
On April 3rd, John will be live streaming the event and boarding the train in the Gran Class (1st class) and share the journey with you. This includes a live stream in Aomori to show the final destination of this Shinkansen.
