Can Tourists Use Childcare in Japan?

Could tourists really leave their child at a daycare in Tokyo and enjoy a few hours alone? We checked our son into ANO-NE Kids Club in Yurakucho (Ginza) to find out — and it changed the way we think about family travel in Japan. While he was there, we went on a date to a omakase sushi restaurant and Japanese department store for luxury gift shopping, things a 5 year old wouldn’t like at all.
Parents can have their own time while kids enjoy a play vacation, the ultimate win-win for families traveling to Japan with kids. Parents get a little freedom, and kids have a great time too.
