John Daub heads to Shibamata in the Northeast part of the city for some amazing Japanese cuisine on a stick! Angela An joins in for the fun. This part of Tokyo retains its Showa period charm, laid-back and easy to get around.

About Shibamata:
Most shop close by 16:30 ~ 17:00
I highly recommend arriving before 15:30.

How to get there:
From Asakusa / 20 minutes / 370 yen
* Asakusa Subway Line to Keisei-Takasago (13 minutes / 7 stops)
* Change to the Keisei-Kanamachi Line (2 minutes / 1 stop)
Trains run from Asakusa every 20 minutes.

Taxi: 30-40 minutes / 3500 yen
Traffic can be heavy. Streets are narrow. Many lights. Recommend the train.
